According to XperiaBlog website, Sony is rolling out the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for the Sony Xperia Z2. The firmware build 23.1.A.0.690 is reported to be rolling across the Nordic and Baltic regions for the Sony Xperia Z2 (D6503). Notably, the same firmware build was reported as rolling out for the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact by the website on Monday.

While the changelog for the Android 5.0 Lollipop on Xperia Z2 smartphones is not available at this point, the phone should get similar software as detailed by Sony for the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact.
Sony's official changelog for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact included Material Design interface (Lollipop design style notifications, and lock screen with fully customisable settings); Android Lollipop's multi-user profiles and guest mode features; improved storage control and customisation options to easily move applications from internal memory to SD card, and support for Android for Work.

The Japanese firm had earlier this week also announced that the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout will continue to further markets and more Xperia Z series devices in around two weeks' time.
