One of the leaked images shows the alleged Xperia Z1s with model number D5503, and also reveals it to be running Android 4.3 with build version 14.2.A.0.205. It's worth pointing out that the Sony Xperia Z1s is rumoured to be an international variant of the Japan-only Xperia Z1 f, which has a SO-02F model number.
Some images have been shot showing the rumoured Xperia Z1s with a ruler, giving an estimate of the dimensions of the device. The leaked screenshots also reveal 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and the same Xperia UI as seen in Xperia Z1.
Earlier, the Xperia Z1s, believed to be the mini-variant of Xperia Z1, was briefly listed on Sony's global site that confirmed the existence of the smartphone.
The Sony Xperia Z1s is rumoured to come with a 4.3-inch TRILUMINOS HD (720x1280) display with X-Reality for Mobiles; a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974 processor; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, and a 2300mAh battery with STAMINA mode. Further, the Xperia Z1s believed to be much like the Xperia Z1 f and Xperia Z1, sporting a20.7-megapixel Exmor RS sensor alongside BIONZ image processor engine and pulsed LED flash. In addition, like other Xperia Z smartphones, the Xperia Z1s is said to be waterproof and dust-proof.
