Sony Xperia P and U draw their power from a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM to boot. The Xperia P also houses an 8-megapixel camera while the Xperia U will give you an image resolution of 5-megapiels. Both the phones feature a unique 2D and 3D panoramic mode.
The two new phones also incorporate Sony's Bravia engine as the display technology. Sony claims to have infused the Xperia P with what it called WhiteMagic technology designed to improve screen legibility when viewing it under the sun.
Sony also included HDMI and DLNA capabilities in the Xperia P while Xperia U gets only the DLNA feature.
Both phones will be launched with Android Gingerbread as the stock OS, but an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich has already been announced.
