Japanese firm Sansui has launched a budget Android device called Horizon 1. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 3,999, and the company has partnered with Flipkart to make it exclusively available on the e-commerce site. The big highlight of the low-priced smartphone is its 4G VoLTE support and its 2000mAh battery.
The Sansui Horizon 1 smartphone is available in Black and Golden colour options in India. The volume and power buttons are housed on the right edge, the Micro-USB port is seen at the bottom edge, while the 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top edge of the smartphone. The dual-SIM Horizon 1 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
As for specifications, the Sansui Horizon 1 smartphone features a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA display with 218ppi pixel density, and is powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832 quad-core processor paired with just 1GB of RAM and ARM Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The smartphone offers 8GB of internal storage with the option to expand further with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 64GB).
Coming to the camera, the Sansui Horizon 1 offers a 5-megapixel S5K5E8 rear sensor with autofocus, and 30fps video recording. The camera app comes with features like face detection (Number of Faces), HDR, panorama, continuous shots (3/6/10), night mode, GIF camera and slow motion recording. At the front, there is 3.2-megapixel sensor for video chats and selfies. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery, and connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS.
This Sansui Horizon 1 also comes with a panic button that sends an immediate distress signal with your current GPS location in case of an emergency. This alerts your specified family and friends of your whereabouts and lets them know when that you need help.
