In the past few months, there have been plenty of rumours regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note III. Now folks at SamMobile are reporting that Samsung is supposedly worried about the design and build quality of the next version of Note phablet. As per the website, Samsung has started worrying about these parameters after seeing the design of HTC One and the positive response it has received.

The Korean smartphone maker has been criticised for launching smartphones with plastic body for quite a while now and looks like Samsung is planning to change that soon. If the report by SamMobile is correct, then Samsung is now planning to have a metal exterior for its Galaxy Note III phablet.

The website also claims that the company had earlier planned on to have a metal case for the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S4 as well, but had to drop the same as Korean smartphone maker could not mass-produce enough units fast enough.

SamMobile also notes that as per Samsung, their software is a notch ahead of HTC devices. It further goes on to claim that the Samsung's Nature UX interface is simple and easy to use and the addition of new smart functions makes the Samsung Galaxy S4 smarter than its rivals. However, the same cannot be said about the design and hardware of the smartphone.

Adopting a metal case for Samsung Galaxy Note III can prove to be a good move for Samsung, as it will help them in establishing that they can design premium looking smartphones. Additionally, if this move pays off, the company can then look at having a metal exterior for its other flagship smartphones as well.

As per past rumours, Samsung Galaxy Note III will come with a 6.0-inch full-HD AMOLED display. This phablet is likely to be powered by Exynos 5 Octa CPU and will support LTE. Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to come with 13-megapixel rear shooter. This phablet is likely to run on the latest version of Android, which should be Android 5.0 aka Android Key Lime Pie. SamMobile claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will have even more software improvements and features than the Samsung Galaxy S4.

According to previous reports, Samsung is likely to launch its Galaxy Note III smartphone at the IFA event that will take place at Berlin, Germany in August.
