Samsung's entry-level Android smartphone, the Galaxy Star (S5282) has been listed on e-commerce websites for Rs. 4,990.
The phone is available on leading Indian e-commerce sites including
Flipkart. However, the Samsung India Online store has still not put a price with its own listing. We had earlier
reported that the phone has been listed on the Samsung India Online store.
The Samsung Galaxy Star duos sports a 3.0-inch screen with QVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage and a microSD slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) along with Samsung's own touch-wiz nature UX interface.
Samsung Galaxy Star is powered by a 1200mAh battery. The connectivity options for this smartphone include Micro-USB, Wi-Fi- A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone sports a 2-megapixel rear shooter. Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo also comes with 3.0-inch screen with QVGA resolution.
As the name suggests, this is a dual-SIM smartphone, which will be available in two colour options - Black and White.

announced along with Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo in April.
