Now, specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S6 have surfaced on the Internet ahead of the much-anticipated launch. Notably, this is the first leak that has actually included purported innards of the next flagship smartphone from Samsung.

The leak comes via BGR, which claims to have received specifications from a source and also notes, "We were sent photos from our trusted source, though we were not allowed to publish them."
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to include a 64-bit octa-core SoC (unspecified chipset) built on a 14nm node process. The source claims that it will be 50 percent faster. In earlier leaks, Samsung has been rumoured to include an Exynos 7420 (14nm process) for the 3G variant and a Snapdragon 810 chipset (20nm process) for the 4G model. Unfortunately, there is no word on the RAM value; though a recent leaked suggested that the Galaxy S6 will pack 4GB of RAM.

The handset is said to sport a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display offering an impressive 577ppi pixel density and boasting of Corning Gorilla Glass 4, all of which is definitely a major upgrade compared to the Samsung Galaxy S5 (which sports a 5.1-inch full-HD display).
It will feature a 20-megapixel rear camera with OIS and a 5-megapixel front camera is also onboard. The source claims that the Galaxy S6 will come in three storage variants - 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. There is a 2550mAh battery.

The Galaxy S6 is said to include built-in wireless charging, which has been largely seen being included in the high-end smartphones. It will come with Quick connect charging that will offer up to four hours of usage on a 10 minute charge.
The source also talks about Samsung Pay, which seems similar to Apple Pay, and notes, "Samsung Pay: works with 90 percent of existing magnetic stripe payment terminals, and NFC payment terminals." About the design, the source claims that the Galaxy S6 will pack metal and glass body. For connectivity, it is said to support LTE Category 6.
Meanwhile, another report (via GSMArena) indicates the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will not be dust and water-resistant like the Galaxy S5 and its IP67 certification. That feature will only be reserved for the Active version of the handset, claims the report.
