Following the Samsung announcement of upcoming price adjustments of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge due to sales numbers that were 'below expectations', new details of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (aka Edge+) have surfaced on the Internet, from its pricing to the camera it will ship with.

The camera module on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has been spotted on an Indian import/ export manifest site. Additionally, pricing of the upcoming smartphone has been tipped.

The Indian import/ export site, Zauba, lists (via Napidroid.hu) 16-megapixel camera module of the Samsung model SM-G928V, believed to be the Verizon bound Galaxy S6 Edge Plus model, as shipped on July 24. The camera module was shipped from China. One of the possibilities is that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus may sport a similar camera module to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Samsung however can also be expected to use the recently unveiled 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor with 1.0-micron pixels for mobile devices.

Separately, SamMobile reports that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will be available at a starting price of EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 56,000) for the 32GB model. The report, citing insiders, claims that the company plans to keep the price of the new smartphone below the Galaxy S6 Edge (Review | Pictures), which was launched at EUR 849 (approximately Rs. 59,500) for the 32GB model. It adds that the smartphone will go on sale starting August 21.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ has been rumoured to be the large-screen variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge, and can even be considered the dual-edge display version of the Galaxy Note 5.

Samsung recently scheduled the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on August 13, where the company is expected to debut its next-generation Galaxy Note smartphone alongside the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus at the same event.
