But now we have something that comes straight from Samsung's stable, and seems to be an unofficial confirmation of the existence of the alleged Galaxy S5 Mini.
A Dutch publication named Galaxy Club first spotted the alleged Galaxy S5 Mini listing on Samsung Finland's support page. Earlier, leaks have suggested that the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S5 Mini comes with model number SM-G800 (with a few variations) and notably, the company's Finland support page has listed one of them, the SM-G800F.
Along with Tuesday's leak of the SM-G800 Galaxy S5 Mini, the Galaxy S5 Neo was allegedly also spotted - the SM-G750 - listed on an Indian import/ export website.
The alleged Galaxy S5 Mini first came in the news earlier this month with some rumoured specifications leaked, such Android 4.4 KitKat; a quad-core Snapdragon processor; 8-megapixel rear camera; 2-megapixel front-facing camera; 1.5GB of RAM; 16GB inbuilt storage, an IR blaster and 2100mAh battery.
However, there is no word whether the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy S5 Mini will pack features such as the fingerprint scanner, heart rate sensor and IP67 certification for dust and water-resistance.
Earlier, Samsung launched the much-anticipated camera-variant of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy K zoom, at its 'Kapture the Moment' event at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore. Unfortunately, the South Korean giant has not announced any pricing and availability details of the Galaxy K zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy K zoom is the second camera specialised-smartphone from the company, the first being the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
