While replying to a user query about the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 mini, Samsung France noted (translated from French) on Twitter, "For #GalaxyS5mini, the update will be available in the second quarter 2015!."
Other than that the firm did not provide more information about which other devices are in the pipeline to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Earlier this month, Samsung Poland had confirmed that an Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the older Galaxy Note II is being planned as well. The company on its Twitter account replied to a user saying that the Galaxy Note II will receive the update, but didn't reveal any further information.
Around this time only, Samsung also reportedly began rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its phablet flagship, the Galaxy Note 4. According to Sammobile, the Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 first started rolling out in Poland, and then later same week to users in South Korea. The update is said to be available via Samsung Kies software, and it is possible that the update may soon become available over-the-air.
The South Korea update is said to be based on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, carry build number N910SKSU1BOB4, and be currently rolling out for Galaxy Note 4 users on SK Telecom. While there was no official rollout announcement from Samsung, the report had suggested that it shouldn't be long before other major carriers in the country start pushing out the update.
