Samsung has kicked off the advertising campaign around its latest flagship Galaxy S4. AndroidBeat has spotted three advertising spots of Galaxy S4 that were uploaded on Samsung's official YouTube channel for the Netherlands.

The first advertisement talks about the 'Sound Shot' feature of the Galaxy S4. The ad opens with a mom kissing her son Goodbye as he leaves for a vacation. She asks his son to send in a lot of photos. The son sends these pictures using the Sound Shot feature, which offer him an option of adding voiceover to his images. The mom seems pleased to see the pictures and voiceovers and enjoys those moments along with son.

The second ad showcases the 'Group Play' feature. The ad begins with a basketball team anxiously awaiting a game. One of the members of the team is listening to a song "I don't care" and he shares it with the other members of the team through the Group play feature and all the team members bond over this sentiment.

The final advertisement shows the 'S Translator' feature in action. An Australian girl visits a Chinese family for lunch and she uses the 'S Translator' on her Samsung Galaxy S4 to help her overcome the language barrier.

Apart from these three ad spots, Android Central has uploaded a 1 minute teaser video of the Samsung Galaxy S4. This video talks mainly about the hardware of the smartphone. It mentions phrases like 'Slimmer yet stronger', 'unimaginable clarity' along with 'and the innovation continues'. This advertisement also demonstrates the dual-shot camera feature of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

According to Asymco, Samsung spent over $300 million on advertising in 2012 and it seems that the Korean smartphone will continue to spend heavily on marketing and advertising all through 2013 too.

For viewers who may have missed all the action, Samsung took the wraps off its Galaxy S4 smartphone at an unpacked event on March 14, 2013. Samsung Galaxy S4 sports a 5-inch full-HD screen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, and pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor in some regions, and a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor in others. It has 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544MP3 triple-core GPU.

The smartphone will come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants but will also feature a microSD card slot for expanding the memory. The Galaxy S4 packs in a 13-megapixels rear shooter and a 2-megapixel one on the front. The Galaxy S4 also offers more camera features including dual-shot, employing the use of both front and back camera, an eraser shot mode to remove people from photos, and a Cinemagram like feature called Cinema Photo, among several other tricks.

US telecom operator AT&T will begin taking pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S4 from April 16. The 16GB version is available for $200 with a 200 year contract, while the 32GB version will set you back by $250. The unlocked price for Samsung Galaxy S4 has not been revealed as of yet.

There's no official word yet on India pricing and availability.
