Samsung's Unpacked event next week is going to be a grand affair with the new Galaxy S10 series launching alongside the first foldable phone from the company. The teasers and leaks have picked up pace, and now Samsung has introduced a dedicated page for reserving the 'next Galaxy flagship' before launch. All of these users who reserve the phone get benefits worth $600, provided they fully complete the order transaction within the 72 hour period after the device goes on sale.
As we mentioned, Samsung now has a dedicated reservation page on its US official site, taking reservations for its 'next Galaxy flagship'. The page is asking for personal information, and whether the buyer is interested in reserving a carrier locked or an unlocked version of the device. For all those who reserve, Samsung is offering up to $550 cashback on exchange of an old device. The amount will vary depending on the phone, and users can check on the website how much cashback their phone entitled to. Older phones get up to $300 cashback, and new phones like the Pixel 3, iPhone XS series, Galaxy Note 9 are entitled to $550 cashback. Furthermore, all those who reserve the phone right away will also get $50 credit for purchase of accessories as well. These users will get the phone delivered to them by March 8, as they will get early access to pre-order as well.
In order to avail all of these benefits, these users will need to place an order through Samsung.com or Shop Samsung app within 72 hours of the sale going live. If these reserved users do not complete their order, they will not be eligible for the above mentioned benefits. Reservation will end on February 20 at 11:59pm ET. On its site, Samsung also says that only select Galaxy versions are eligible for this offer without really revealing more. It is possible that this offer isn't applicable on the cheapest alleged Samsung Galaxy S10e model, but we're just speculating, and Samsung should reveal all details once pre-order goes live.
Coming to India, Samsung has started taking registrations of interest, but hasn't unveiled any benefits for registered customers as of yet. Samsung is expected to launch three variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 family - Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e. The nomenclature for the inferior variant was recently confirmed by Samsung itself on its French website.
