Samsung Galaxy On Max price has been reduced in India. The smartphone, which was launched in July last year at Rs. 16,900 (MOP), is now available at Rs. 13,900. The revised price is already live on Flipkart and Samsung's online store. Samsung confirmed to Gadgets 360 that this is a limited period price cut.
Customers buying the Samsung Galaxy On Max through Flipkart can also avail a discount of up to Rs. 13,000 in exchange for their old handsets. Also, there is 10 percent instant discount for purchases using HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. The smartphone also comes with the 'Jio Football Offer' to offer a cashback worth Rs. 2,200. This cashback offer is available on Flipkart as well as Samsung's online store.
Notably, the discount has brought the Samsung Galaxy On Max to the segment that already has the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Huawei Honor 7X.
The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy On Max (Review) runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has 13-megapixel camera sensors on the front and back with LED flash modules on both sides. The rear sensor has an f/1.7 aperture, while the front sensor includes an f/1.9 aperture.
Samsung has provided 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). In terms of connectivity, there is 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset packs a 3300mAh battery and measures 156.6x78.7x8.1mm. Besides, there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and Samsung Pay Mini integration.
