Samsung has announced that Galaxy Note has been sold 5 million times so far. This 5.3 inch display smartphone was first launched in October last year and has taken around five months to reach this milestone.
While these numbers look small compared Galaxy S II's ten million unit sales in first six months of launch, they are pretty impressive considering the niche target market of Galaxy Note. Company had recently revealed that Note will also be getting a premium suite update along with Android 4.0 in the second quarter of this year.
To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Note features 5.3 inch HD display, Android 2.3, 1.4GHz dual core processor, and 8MP rear camera. It is being sold for Rs 32,700 in the country.
