Soon after launching the Galaxy J Max and Galaxy J2 (2016), Samsung has now introduced the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo smartphone. The new Galaxy J-series handset is now listed on the company's South Africa site. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or availability details of the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo. The handset is now listed in Black, Blue, and White colours.
Featuring a 4.3-inch Super Amoled display with a screen resolution of 480x800 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage. The handset supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The single-SIM device sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and also comes with 2-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo supports 4G LTE apart from GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ Glonass, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The handset is backed by a 1900mAh removable battery. It measures 130.1x67.6x9.5mm and weighs 131 grams. Similar to other Galaxy J-series handsets, the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo comes with Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Last week, both the new Galaxy J2 (2016) smartphone and Galaxy J Max tablet were unveiled for the Indian market. The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) was priced was launched at Rs. 9,750 while the Galaxy J Max tablet was launched at Rs. 13,400. One of the biggest highlights of the new Galaxy J2 (2016) is its next-generation LED notification system which Samsung calls Smart Glow.
