The Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 is now available in the country at online retail site,
Saholic priced at Rs. 8,499. Samsung had
announced the smartphone earlier in July this year.
The budget Android offering from Samsung comes with a touch-cum-QWERTY keypad. The device sports a 3.0-inch capacitive QVGA display, 2MP camera and 4GB of internal storage. The phone weighs 112g and is 11.7mm thick. It is powered by an 850 MHz processor hosting 512MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0. The camera on the smartphone can be accessed directly from the lock-screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Chat also features Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and a 1200 mAh battery. There's also a dedicated button for the company's ChatON messenger. The handset is available in Black and White colour options.
The Korean manufacturer offers a variety of smartphones from its budget Android stable. Some of the recently announced device are the
dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite smartphones.
In May, Samsung announced a GSM-only version of the
Galaxy Ace Duos smartphone, which was
upgraded in June and priced at Rs. 15,090.
Back in April, the company had launched the
Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos while in Februrary, Samsung came out with its dual-SIM feature phones, the
Star 3 Duos and Champ Deluxe Duos.
Whether smartphones or feature phones, the company caters to users with a range of requirements.
