SamMobile claims to have got their hands on an alleged photograph of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone. This smartphone carries the codenamed GT-S7270. Measuring 121.2X62.7X9.79mm, Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is expected to come with 4.0-inch TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is likely to be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The internal storage available on this smartphone will be 4GB, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is expected to pack in a 1,500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will run on either Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 along with a layer of Samsung's own touch-wiz Nature UX. For camera, there is a 5-megapixel rear shooter and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options are likely to include Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. An earlier leak had suggested that this smartphone will be priced approximately 9,900 roubles (about Rs. 17, 600).
This smartphone was earlier rumoured to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2013, but looks like Samsung has delayed this smartphone. The current set of news reports are suggesting that this smartphone will debut at the June 20 event and SamMobile claims that Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will start retailing by July 2013.
SamMobile also claims that this smartphone will come in two variants - a dual-SIM version and a single SIM one. Samsung Galaxy Ace is expected to come in three colour options - Metallic Black, Wine Red and Pure White.
It is noteworthy, that Samsung is also expected to launch the new Ativ devices at the June 20 event taking place in London. The Korean giant is calling the event Samsung Premiere 2013.
