Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is the world's first smartphone with a quad camera setup at the back, launched initially at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While Samsung hasn't yet announced any details, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has now been listed on the company's official website, with a report claiming to have access to the phone's price in India. This price has been reportedly derived from the source code of the Galaxy A9's landing page on the official website. Launch and availability details are not known yet.
A report by 91Mobiles from last week claims that the Samsung Galaxy A9 could bear a price tag of Rs. 39,000 in the Indian market, as revealed by a mention in the source code on Samsung India's official website. The amount seems to have been removed as of press time. While this could be the final pricing, certain tags around the amount appear to show the maximum price after exchange. The phone's global pricing starts at EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 49,800) and GBP 549 (approximately Rs. 52,200). Only the 6GB RAM model of the smartphone could be launched in India initially, considering there is only one price tag and the website mentions that the 8GB RAM model will be available only in certain countries.
Nonetheless, at that price point, the Samsung Galaxy A9 will look to dent OnePlus 6T's market by introducing camera features never seen before in a smartphone. Under the hood, however, the Galaxy A9 has less to talk about than the OnePlus 6T. Let's have a look at its specifications.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).

On the front, the smartphone sports a 24-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
