Samsung Galaxy A20e has been unveiled in Poland as an inferior version of the Galaxy A20 that was recently launched in India. The new Samsung phone carries an Infinity-V Display and sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor. It also matches the design aesthetics of the Galaxy A20, sporting a one-piece plastic build along with a traditional fingerprint sensor at the back. The Galaxy A20e also comes with the octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC that's also powering the Galaxy A20. Samsung hasn't revealed the price and availability of the Galaxy A20e. However, the phone is set to arrive in Black and White colour options.
The Samsung Galaxy A20e features a 5.8-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) TFT Infinity-V Display panel. This is notably smaller than the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel featured on the Galaxy A20.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A20e has an Exynos 7884 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone also has 32GB inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card.
For photos and videos, the Samsung Galaxy A20e sports a dual rear camera setup. This includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.9 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The phone also houses an 8-megapixel sensor at the front along with an f/2.0 lens.
Unlike models such as the Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A70 that come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Samsung Galaxy A20e comes with the traditional, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also packs a 3,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A20 was launched in India last week with a price tag of 12,490. The phone, apart from having the larger display over what's on the Galaxy A20e, has a large, 4,000mAh battery.
