Samsung Galaxy F23 5G India launch date is set for March 8, the South Korean tech giant announced on Friday. The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the official Samsung website. The smartphone will come with two first ever features in the Galaxy F series: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, and a display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The company says that the handset is ideal for “accelerated customer needs including gaming and content streaming.”

Samsung sent a press note about the launch and, also as per a dedicated microsite on Flipkart as well as on Samsung India website, the Samsung galaxy F23 5G will be launched on March 8 at 12pm. The South Korean company says that the phone will have a full-HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC. The image teased in the announcement suggests that the phone will come with a triple rear camera setup, and an Infinity V display. Furthermore, it will be a Flipkart Unique (exclusive) smartphone.

Citing unnamed sources, a previous report claimed that the Samsung smartphone will be priced under Rs. 20,000.

Samsung hasn't revealed any further information apart from the full-HD 120Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC. But thr phone has been leaked a few times over the past weeks. Its leaked specifications include 6GB of RAM and Android 12 out-of-the-box.

Samsung Galaxy F23 will be the successor to Galaxy F22 that features a 6.4-inch HD+ sAMOLED display and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It packs a 6,000mAh battery that can support up to 25W fast charging. For optics, the Galaxy F22 sports a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
