While Xiaomi is busy with the Poco F1, the rumour mill is churning out speculations around its successor that could debut as the Poco F2. The latest development in the series comes in the form a concept render of the Poco F2. The render shows a fresh design from what we saw on the Poco F1. Also, the new handset appears to a waterdrop-style display notch. This unlike the original Poco model that had a traditional display notch.

Tipster Benjamin Geskin on Thursday posted a concept render of the Poco F2, based on leaks and rumours. The render shows a waterdrop-style display notch. This is similar to the Xiaomi Mi Play but not in line with the Poco F1 that sports a traditional notch in a rectangular shape. Notably, the Redmi 7 Pro from Xiaomi was also recently spotted on TENAA with a waterdrop-style notch design.

With new notch design, the Poco F2 could offer a higher screen-to-body ratio over what's available on the Poco F1. The concept render also shows a vertically-placed dual rear camera setup placed at the top-left corner. In contrast, the Poco F1 has a dual rear camera setup at the centre of the upper half of the back panel.

The concept render of the Poco F2 also shows a back-mounted fingerprint sensor. Besides, there is a Poco branding with a small mentioning of Xiaomi.

Since the render shared by the tipster is only of a Poco F2 concept, it is safe to presume a large number of changes in the final model.

This isn't the first time when the Poco F2 has been rumoured online. A Geekbench listing of the handset recently surfaced with specifications such as 6GB of RAM and Android 9.0 Pie. However, Poco India General Manager C Manmohan took to Twitter to seemingly refute the Geekbench listing and said that the company was "still focused on providing the best experience on the Poco F1."

To recall, the Poco F1 was launched in India back in August last year. The smartphone originally carried a price tag of Rs. 20,999, though its price reduced by Rs. 1,000 recently. Xiaomi also last month brought MIUI 10 based on Android Pie to the Poco F1.
