Panasonic on Friday unveiled two new budget smartphones, the T30 (seen above) and T44, in India. The company says that the new Panasonic smartphones are targeted at Tier II and Tier III markets in India.
The Panasonic T30 has been priced at Rs. 3,290 while the Panasonic T44 comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,290. The Panasonic T44 will be available in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, and Electric Blue colours. The Panasonic T30 will come in Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, and Steel Grey colours. The company will be offering a free protective screen guard worth Rs. 299 with the new Panasonic T30 and T44.
Both the Panasonic T30 and T44 come with some similar innards. Both feature a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Both the smartphones sport 5-megapixel rear cameras with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front cameras.
The dual-SIM Panasonic T30 and T44 support Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
There are few differences as well. The Panasonic T30 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset is backed by a 1400mAh battery and measures 126x64x10.3mm.
The T44 (seen above) runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Panasonic Sail UI and packs 1GB of RAM. The handset packs 8GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It is backed by a 2400mAh battery and measures 127.3x66x9.65mm.
