Panasonic on Wednesday launched its P9 smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat in India at Rs. 6,290. The smartphone has already been made available across the country through the company's brand shops as well as retail outlets. The Panasonic P9 has been launched by the company in Champagne Gold and Black colours only.
In terms of features, the Panasonic P9 comes with a 'Quick Switching' feature that allows users to shuffle between the most recently used apps. Further, it comes with the 'Quick Reply' feature that allows users to reply to messages directly from the notification without opening the full-scale app.
The Panasonic P9 sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display and the handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC clocked at 1.1GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel camera at front with an f/2.4 aperture.
The new smartphone comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity, the Panasonic P9 offers options including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and FM. The smartphone houses a 2210mAh battery and weighs 144 grams.
