Panasonic has yet again teased its upcoming Panasonic P81 smartphone, a glimpse of which we saw earlier this month in the form of a teaser image. This time the firm has not only
teased the smartphone's feature in an image, but has also released a video teaser that reveals one of the key specifications.
While the previous image hinted at swappable back covers for the smartphone, the latest teaser image clearly mentions 'octa-core' written at the bottom and suggests its launch in May. The image also focuses on the smartphone's performance, by saying 'Get ready for speed'. The teaser image also has 'Swift. Smooth. Sensational.' written at the bottom.
The teaser video once again teases the Panasonic P81's speed, and boasts of an octa-core processor. However, the firm did not specifically mention which processor it will be using. It is being speculated that the Panasonic P81 will flaunt a MediaTek octa-core SoC, and a full-HD display.
The firm, earlier this week posted another teaser image on its Facebook page focussing on the Panasonic P81's SMART app switch feature along with a statement "Flip Across Your Favourite Worlds." This indicates that the users, via the Smart app switch feature, can simply jump from one app to another. The feature has not yet been detailed by the company.
Panasonic P81 will also include a slew of preloaded applications such as Evernote, Readwhere, Hungama etc.
The firm last launched the Panasonic P31 smartphone in March this year for Rs. 11,990. Some of the key specifications of the smartphone are Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean; 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) display; 1.3GHz quad-core CPU; 8-megapixel rear camera; VGA front-facing camera; 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), and a 2000mAh battery.
