Panasonic has unveiled its new P75 smartphone priced at Rs. 5,990. The new handset from Panasonic will be available in Champagne Gold and Sand Black colours. The Panasonic P75 will come bundled with a free protective screen guard worth Rs. 399.
The biggest highlight of the Panasonic P75 is its large 5000mAh battery at this price point. We can expect the Panasonic P75 to compete against smartphones featuring similar battery capacities such as the Asus ZenFone Max (2016) which also packs a 5000mAh battery and was recently unveiled at a higher price of Rs. 9,999.

The dual-SIM Panasonic P75 runs Sail UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. The new Panasonic smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Sporting an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the Panasonic P75 also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (32GB). Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Measuring 127.3x66x9.6mm, the Panasonic P75 bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, "With the increased usage of smartphones nowadays, we offer our consumers a long lasting 5000mAH battery smart phone capable of turn-by-turn navigation as well, thereby assisting our consumers on the go."
Panasonic India last month had launched the Eluga A2 priced at Rs. 9,490. The highlight of the smartphone was its large 4000mAh battery, and voice over LTE (VoLTE) support.
