Oplus India, a subsidiary of Oplus Taiwan, has launched its first tablet in India, dubbed XonPad 7, at Rs. 9,990. The company has launched the XonPad 7 tablet in partnership with Snapdeal, and Oplus notes that the device will be only available via the online retailer.

The Oplus XonPad 7 tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and comes with SIM functionality, supporting voice-calling. It features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor (unspecified chipset) along with 1GB of RAM. The Oplus XonPad7 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The tablet comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the Oplus XonPad 7 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. The tablet packs a 3500mAh battery and comes with 189x115x9.7mm dimensions.
