OnePlus has now started rolling out the OxygenOS 4.5.11 update to its flagship OnePlus 5 smartphone, and the latest version brings along several bug fixes and performance improvements to the handset. Among the several changes that come along with the update, OnePlus claims to have fixed the issue where YouTube videos were lagging behind the audio for some users.
The OxygenOS 4.5.11 for OnePlus 5, just like every other update, is being rolled out by the company on an 'incremental' basis, which means users will receive the update in batches over the next few days. As per the changelog shared by the company in its official forum, the OxygenOS 4.5.11 update brings support for customisation of notification ringtone and improves the launch speed of apps as well. The update brings along optimised adaptive brightness and the company says that it has also fixed display issues with some of the UI elements.
With the update, OnePlus says that it has further fixed the issue where certain devices were not getting 4G+ network in some regions. Along with the OxygenOS 4.5.11 update, the company has also tagged the monthly Android security patch for the month of September. Apart from this, the company says that the new update brings along 'general bug fixes' as well.
Considering that the new update brings along several crucial bug fixes and performance improvements, it would be a wise step for the users to update the handset as soon as it is made available.
