As the OnePlus 2 launch reaches closer, almost all of its specifications and features have been revealed by the firm. Following the trends of multiple leaks however, what left to be seen was a listing on an e-commerce website, and now that too has happened with a listing on Oppomart. While all the specifications of the upcoming flagship are clearly listed, the image is still missing. The price mentioned in the listing is $499 (roughly Rs. 31,700), which contradicts with the company CEO's announcement earlier this month of sub-$450 (roughly Rs. 28,600) price tag.
According to the listing, the smartphone features a 5.7-inch QHD (2056x1440 pixels) resolution display with pixel density of 571ppi. It would run on Android 5.1-based Oxygen OS. As revealed before the company, the handset is listed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. Interestingly, the listing also shows the OnePlus 2 to house 3GB of RAM, which again contradicts with the company's previous announcement of 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Also mentioned are 16-megapixel Sony Exmor IMX234 rear camera and a "distortion free" 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The upcoming handset, like the original OnePlus One, is listed to arrive in two variants based on 16GB and 64GB eMMC 5.0 inbuilt storage. This is a bit strange, as there is only one price provided. Also matching is the non-removable 3300mAh Lithium Polymer battery, which the company confirmed recently on a Reddit AMAA session. There is no mention of dimensions, weight USB Type-C support, fingerprint sensor, or dual-SIM support, all of which were confirmed by the company recently.
The listing also shows the OnePlus 2 to include 4G FDD-LTE connectivity as well. The bands included are GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA: 850/900/1900/2100MHz, and LTE FDD: 2100/1800/2600MHz.
Of course, as this is a third-party e-commerce listing, we advise readers to take the listed specifications with a pinch of salt. The company will launch the OnePlus 2 in a virtual reality event, and that's when we will get to know the official details. OnePlus on Thursday also detailed its improved invite system for the smartphone.
