We are barely days away from one of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2017, where HMD Global will be revealing the first Nokia-branded Android phones in years. The legendary brand made a comeback earlier this year with the Nokia 6, which is still limited only to the Chinese-market.

Nokia has now confirmed that it will be live-streaming the launch event on Sunday. The official Facebook account of the Nokia Mobile has scheduled a live stream on Sunday, where HMD Global is expected to reveal four new Nokia phones.

Nokia 3310, Nokia P1, and Other Nokia Android Phones to Launch at MWC 2017: All You Need to Know

The Finland-based company has also confirmed that the Nokia MWC 2017 live stream will be also available on YouTube. The Facebook live stream teaser says, "We'll be announcing live on Facebook the details of our Nokia smartphones on Android - see it here first!"

For the upcoming Nokia MWC 2017 event, HMD Global is widely expected to bring back the refresh of the Nokia 3310 feature phone which has hogged all the limelight. Other Nokia phones expected to debut later this week include two budget Nokia devices - Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. Nokia 6, the smartphone touted as the comeback device for Nokia, is also expected to see global availability details out at the same event.

The HMD Global event is set to take place in Barcelona on Sunday, and it will kick off at 4:30pm local time (9pm IST).

Additionally, French consumer electronics company Withings, which was acquired by Nokia last year, has also confirmed its presence at the Sunday launch event at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. Considering that Withings' products include activity trackers, weighing scales, thermometers, blood pressure monitors and baby monitors built on a digital platform, we can expect a collaboration of some sort in the upcoming Nokia devices. In a tweet Withings earlier this week wrote, "Just under 1 week until we join Nokia for an exciting Keynote announcement at Mobile World Congress-you won't want to miss it."
