Nokia is holding an event in London on May 14 where it is expected to unveil one of more of its Windows Phone-based Lumia phones.

A copy of the invitation shared by AllThingsD says, "See What's Next" in the background with the words "The Nokia Lumia story continues" dominating the foreground. While there's no official word from the company on what will be launched, based on previous reports the most likely candidate to make an appearance would be the much-rumoured Nokia Catwalk.

Nokia Catwalk is the purported successor to the Lumia 920 with an aluminium body, compared to the plastic shell of company's current flagship. That would make the phone around 50 grams lighter than the heavyweight Lumia 920. As far as other specifications are concerned, Catwalk is rumoured to come with a 4.5-inch display and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Internal storage on the smartphone will be 16GB and it is likely to pack an 8.7-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 2,000mAh battery.

Another phone that has been in the rumours recently is the Nokia EOS, which is said to combine 41-megapixel goodness last seen in Nokia 808 with Windows Phone. The Nokia Lumia 928 could also make an appearance at the event. Nokia Lumia 928 is rumoured to come with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 768x1280 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 8.7-megapixel PureView camera and a 2,000mAh battery.

There have also been reports of Nokia launching Windows Phone-based phablets to rival Samsung's Galaxy Note series, but they are unlikely to come to fruition at the event in May.
