The Lumia 920, which now appears to have been pulled down from the site, was earlier priced at $149.99 with the new activation and $599 for the unactivated model. The device was listed with four available colours of cyan, yellow, red, white and black.
The 8GB version of the HTC 8X, on the other hand, is still being offered in purple for $99.99 with new activation and $599.99 unactivated. Shipping details mention, "Reserve today. Will ship when available". Further details regarding official pricing and availability are expected to be revealed at the Windows Phone 8 event.
A quick hardware comparison, both devices offer an 8 MP rear camera, while HTC has a front facing 2.1 MP, the Lumia 920 has a is 1.2MP camera. The 8X has a 4.3-inch, 1280 x 720 display with pixel density of 342 ppi vs the Lumia 920′s 1280x768, 332 ppi screen. Both pack in a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB RAM. In terms looks, the HTC smartphone is smaller and lighter.
