Soon after the global
launch of the Nokia Lumia 925, Nokia has now slashed the price of its current flagship device in the market, the Nokia Lumia 920 (

Nokia Shop online.
Powered by a 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, the phone also comes bundled with a free wireless charger worth Rs. 3,999. The Windows Phone 8 device has received rave reviews in the past, specifically for the camera and particularly its low-light performance. Though a bit on the bulkier side, the phone promises great performance and delivers it with ease.
The price cut was preceded by the newly announced Nokia Lumia 925 being listed on the Nokia India website with the availability marked as 'Coming Soon'. The Lumia 925, which is a refined take on Lumia 920, features a metal frame instead of the polycarbonate bodies of the erstwhile Lumia devices. It boasts an 8.7-megapixel camera with 6 lenses, compared to Lumia 920's 5 lenses. The phone happens to be both lighter and thinner when compared to Lumia 920. However, similar to the 920 the device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and houses a 2,000mAh battery backup. The problem with the device specs seems to be the limited 16GB internal storage and no microSD slot for expansion. Also, in order to wirelessly charge this phone, you need to purchase a separate back cover.
The price cut might be an indicator of Nokia creating a new benchmark for its upcoming flagship. The international pricing for Nokia Lumia 925 is 469 Euros, however the India price is still unknown.
