Amazon India on Monday launched Nokia Week campaign in India with cashback offers on the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 smartphones. The offers will be available until November 17, and Prime members paying through Amazon Pay are provided with additional cashback offers.
The Prime members buying the new Nokia 6 using Amazon Pay are entitled to receive a cashback of Rs. 2,500, while regular Amazon customers using Amazon Pay service will get a cashback of Rs. 1,500. On the other hand, the Prime members purchasing the Nokia 6 through payment methods other than Amazon Pay will get cashback of Rs. 500.
Amazon has also provided cashback to its Prime members buying the Nokia 8. The Prime members shopping for the Nokia 8 using Amazon Pay will receive a cashback of Rs. 1,500. Notably, looking at the Nokia 8 page on Amazon, we weren't able to see the cashback offer, though it's mentioned on the offer page. The Nokia 6 offer is visible however. Furthermore, the online marketplace is offering an additional exchange discount of Rs. 1,000 on both the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 smartphones.
Amazon has listed the Nokia 6 in Silver and Matte Black colour options with a price tag of Rs. 14,999, while its Tempered Blue variant was not available at the time of filing this story. The Nokia 8 is available in all three colour options, including Polished Blue, Steel, and Tempered Blue, at a price of Rs. 36,999.
HMD Global brought the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 to India earlier this year. The Nokia 6 was launched in the country back in June, whereas the Nokia 8 was debuted in August. Both the smartphones come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and are upgradable to Android Oreo and even the Android P versions.
The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has 15-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF (phase-detection autofocus), an f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel sensor, and dual-tone LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel autofocus front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone has 32GB onboard storage along with a microSD card (up to 128GB). Besides, it packs a 3000mAh battery and has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, Micro-USB port with OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Nokia 8 sports a 5.3-inch 2K LCD panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with four cores of 2.45GHz and four cores of 1.8GHz Kyro CPU, coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is also 64GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card of up to 265GB. The handset has 13-megapixel f/2.0 RGB and monochrome camera sensors at the back and a 13-megapixel front camera sensor.
The dual-SIM (hybrid) Nokia 8 has a 3090mAh battery and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, A-GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm jack. Lastly, there is a fingerprint scanner and Nokia OZO audio.
