Soon after HMD announced the release dates for the Nokia 3310 (2017) in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands, UK retailer Clove started taking pre-orders for not only the Nokia 3310 (2017), but also the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. The site, however, stopped the pre-orders on HMD Global's request.

NokiaPowerUSer reports that HMD Global felt that the UK site started taking these pre-orders rather early, and requested them to wait it out. Hence, Clove stopped the pre-orders of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3310 (2017). It sent out an email to all its customers explaining the situation, and also asserted that the pre-orders would be back up over this weekend.

The email also mentioned that all the Nokia devices will be launched throughout June, corroborating previous reports. "We understand your concerns about the pre-order option having been removed from our website. Demand has been very high, but please check back in a few days and you will be able to pre-order again. Actually it is mostly a marketing issue - HMD / Nokia UK were concerned we had advertised the products for pre-order too early. We have spoken to them this week and agreed to remove the pre-order options for now. They will likely return at the weekend. The dates listed on our product pages are as accurate as can be. It would seem all of the range are due to launch through June. We await more exact dates," the email reads.

Clove also said that the demand during pre-order time was very high for all three phones. A recent report also confirmed that the revamped Nokia 3310 will be made available for purchase in UK from May 24, in Germany on May 26, and in Netherlands and Belgium on June 5. The Nokia 3310 (2017) will come with a price tag of EUR 59.99 (roughly Rs. 4,210) in European countries. Notably, the phone is open for pre-registration only for now, from e-tailers including Carphone Warehouse in the UK. Also, the Nokia 3 price in Europe is EUR 139 (roughly Rs. 9,800), and the Nokia 5 price is EUR 190 (rouhly Rs. 13,000).

HMD Global is also set to enter the Indian market in this quarter, and launch all of its smartphones here.
