Microsoft has launched a new affordable handset, the Nokia 225 Dual SIM, at Rs. 3,329. Notably, the feature phone went up for sale via the official store since mid-May at a discounted price of Rs. 3,199. At the time of writing, the Nokia 225 Dual SIM was currently 'out of stock' at the official store.

The Nokia 225 Dual SIM will be available in Black, Red, White, and Yellow colour options. The Nokia 225 Dual SIM and its single SIM avatar, the Nokia 225, were announced in April. The two Nokia phones boast identical specifications, apart from the obvious difference in the number of SIM card slots.

The feature phones come with a 2.8-inch LCD Transmissive display which offers a QVGA (240x320 pixel) resolution and a pixel density of 142ppi. They run Nokia OS Series 30+ and sport a 2-megapixel rear camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPRS and Micro-USB. The phones come with expandable storage up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card.

The phones come with a digital clock, recorder, calculator, clock, calendar, converter, alarm clock, reminders, phonebook, alarm clock with ringtones, and flashlight. They also feature the Nokia Xpress Browser, which now includes Bing search built-in.

In May, Microsoft launched the third Nokia X smartphone in India, the Nokia X+ Dual SIM, at Rs. 8,399. The feature went on sale in late May via company's official India store.
