Nokia 105 Dual SIM Feature Phone Launched at Rs. 1,419

Microsoft has launched the refreshed version of the popular Nokia 105 handset in India, in its dual-SIM variant. Priced at Rs. 1,419, the Nokia 105 Dual SIM will be available in its Black and White colour variants.

The Redmond giant, when introducing the refreshed feature phone, notes that over 80 million handsets of the original Nokia 105 have been sold till date, emphasizing the popularity of the design. The refreshed Nokia 105 was unveiled globally in June.

Speaking at the launch Ravi Kunwar, Director Sales, Microsoft Mobile Devices (a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy), "Microsoft has always believed in connecting people to things that are close to their hearts. We are proud to announce the launch of the Nokia 105 Dual SIM, an essential tool for first-time mobile phone users as they start their journey into a connected world. With handsets like the new Nokia 105 Dual SIM, Microsoft brings very affordable mobile opportunities to more people."

The Nokia 105 (2015) Dual SIM runs on Series 30+ up and features a 1.45-inch (128x128 pixel) LCD display. It comes with an alphanumeric keyboard, and is powered by an 800mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 25 days of standby time.

The feature phone, can now store up to 2,000 contacts and comes pre-installed with games like Snake Xenzia and Bubble Bash 2. FM radio and torch applications are also included. Measuring 108.5x45.5x14.1mm, the Nokia 105 (2015) is slightly taller, broader and slimmer than its predecessor, which measures 107x44.8x14.3mm. A more rounded design of the feature phone is also easier to hold, the company says. The dual-SIM variant of the new Nokia 105 weighs 69.6 grams, and supports regular SIM cards.
