It's worth mentioning that this is the second time that the 'new Moto G' has been leaked in images with the retail box. An image of the purported box packaging of the Moto G's successor - claimed to be shot at a Flipkart warehouse in Bangalore - had surfaced online.
The new leaked image again tips that the handset might be either just called the Moto G or New Moto G, as evinced by the Moto G branding on the box.

Flipkart, the exclusive retail partner for Motorola handsets in India, has been teasing the upcoming launch of a new smartphone via its Twitter handle. While the teasers thus far have not made it clear which phone is being referred to, the teasers have been however referring to "The next level of the exceptional smartphone. Coming soon."
Now, considering that Motorola has been promoting its Moto G in India as an "Exceptional phone" at an "Exceptional price", it does appears as if the Flipkart teasers refer to the successor of the Moto G.
For those unaware, Motorola India has also confirmed an event on September 5 in the country where the company is expected to launch the successors of the Moto X and Moto G.
