Motorola P40 Play CAD-based renders leaked
Motorola P40 has leaked on several occasions, and now renders of P40 Play variant have surfaced online giving us a look at the phone from all angles. The most affordable variant of the P40 series is seen to sport a dual rear camera setup, a bezel filled display, and a rear fingerprint sensor. There's a significant bottom chin, and there is a waterdrop-shaped notch at the top of the display. The Motorola P40 Power variant was leaked earlier, and it is tipped to sport triple rear cameras, a hole-punch selfie camera, and a USB Type-C port.
OnLeaks and CompareRaja have leaked CAD-based renders of the Motorola P40 Play. The renders show a Black colour variant, but we expect more colours to be available when the phone launches. Looking at the design, this is presumably the most affordable variant of the upcoming Motorola P40 series. The phone, as mentioned, sports a dual rear camera setup and a rear fingerprint sensor as well. Up front, there is a waterdrop-shaped notch on top to house the selfie sensor, and a significant bottom chin is seen as well. The volume and power buttons are placed on the right edge, while the phone is seen supporting a Micro-USB port.
The tipster also suggests that the Motorola P40 Play may sport a 5.6-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and it will measure 147.7x71.5x9.2mm (9.4 mm including very thin rear camera ring).
The Motorola P40 Power variant was also leaked recently, and it is said to be coming with a 6.2-inch display, three 12-megapixel sensors on the back, a hole-punch selfie camera up front, and a USB Type-C port. The dimensions of the phone are said to be 160.1x71.2x9.1mm. Additionally, the P40 Power will include a 3.5mm audio jack.
The two phones are likely to join the Motorola P40 aka Motorola One Vision in the company's portfolio. The One Vision is rumoured to be coming with a 21:9 full-HD+ display, Exynos 9610 SoC, 3GB/ 4GB RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB/ 128GB of onboard storage. The phone will also include a 48-megapixel primary sensor at the back and 3,500mAh battery.
