Following its launch in September, Motorola
slashed the price of the 16GB variant of the Moto X (Gen 2) in India
from Rs. 31,999 to Rs. 29,999 alongside the launch of the 32GB variant at Rs. 32,999. Now, both the 16GB and 32GB variants have silently been given price cuts by
Motorola.
The
Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) 16GB Black is now available at Rs. 26,999 via exclusive retail partner Flipkart, while the Moto X (Gen 2) 32GB variant is now selling at Rs. 29,999. Both smartphones have received a Rs. 3,000 price cut from their earlier prices. Notably, the Leather/ Wood back panel model of the 16GB variant is priced at Rs. 28,999.

Both variants of the Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) come with identical specifications, except the storage difference, which is non-expandable.
The Moto X (Gen 2) features a 5.2-inch (1080x1920 pixel) OLED display with a pixel density of 423ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto X (Gen 2) is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K video recording and dual-LED ring flash, as well a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p video recording.
Connectivity options on the Moto X (Gen 2) include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 140.8x72.4x9.97mm, and weighs 144 grams. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
