The purported Geekbench 3 listing shows an unnamed Motorola handset listed as "motorola TBD." We assume that TBD here denotes To Be Disclosed, considering that the handset is evidently still in testing stages.
According to the Geekbench 3 listing (first spotted by Gizmobic), the unnamed phone packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8916) 410 chipset clocked at 1.19GHz. Notably, the Snapdragon 410 is both 32-bit and 64-bit capable. It comes with 1GB of RAM.
The listing also suggests that the smartphone currently runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat; although the Android version might be updated ahead of its official launch. As of now, there are limited details about the rumoured Motorola smartphone.
Considering that the spotted Motorola handset packs Snapdragon 410 and just 1GB of RAM, it seems probable the smartphone is a low-end device, and is probably the successor of the immensely popular Moto E. The Moto E came with dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2GHz alongside 1GB of RAM.
Corroborating our speculation is the fact that Motorola back in September launched refreshed versions of the Moto G and Moto X, and is unlikely to release another variant of the Moto G for sometime. The company is due to release the successor to the Moto E, possible called the Moto E (Gen 2), and the benchmarked Motorola handset seems likely.
We remind readers however, that nothing is official yet, and that all such leaks must be taken with a pinch of salt.
For those unaware, Motorola back in May launched its dual-SIM budget smartphone Moto E in India carrying a price tag of Rs. 6,999. In less than 48 hours after the Moto E went on sale in India, Flipkart's entire stock was wiped out.
