After render leaks earlier this year, the Moto Z4 Play smartphone has now suffered another leak, and this time most specifications have been outed. According to the fresh leak, the Moto Z4 Play may come with a large 6.22-inch display, a Snapdragon 675 SoC, a 6GB RAM, a 48-megapixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel front sensor as well. Past leaks also suggest that the smartphone will sport a single rear camera setup at the back, a waterdrop-shaped notch, and connecting pins on the rear panel for Moto Mods support.
The latest specification details come from 91Mobiles. The report states that the Moto Z4 Play will run on stock Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, and feature a 6.22-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 414ppi pixel density and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor come in two RAM + storage models - 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options.
Coming to the camera, the report states that the Moto Z4 Play will sport a 48-megapixel Q Technology's S5KGM1SP sensor. Front sensor should be at 16-megapixel, and the battery should be at 3,600mAh. Lastly, the report also states that the smartphone will be the first from Motorola to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
A past render leak suggests that the Moto Z4 Play will come with USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack as well. It is tipped to measure at 158x75x7.25mm (9.4mm including the rear camera bump). There's no word on its launch timeline as of yet.
