The e-commerce giant had earlier announced an exchange scheme for the popular budget Moto G smartphone, and has now introduced the same one for the Moto X.
Under the new 'exchange your old phone' offer, customers can get up to Rs. 4,000 discount on the purchase of the Moto X smartphone in exchange of select old phones. With the exchange offer, the Rs. 23,999 price tag on the Moto X gets reduced gets reduced up to Rs. 19,999. Flipkart notes that the Moto X exchange offer is a limited period offer, however does not specify the duration.

Consumers can check their old phone's eligibility on the Moto X listing on Flipkart. The online retailer also notes that consumers will be charged Rs. 50 for picking up the old phone, which would differ according to the location. Flipkart has laid a few conditions for the 'exchange your old phone' offer for the Moto G. The old phone that you wish to exchange should be in a working condition.
Some popular phones that can be used for the exchange offer for buying the Moto X from Flipkart bizarrely include the Apple iPhone 4S, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, and HTC One (M8).
It's worth noting that the Moto X under exchange scheme is also available with 'in-a-day' guarantee shipping. At Flipkart, customers placing their orders before 6pm have the option to get it delivered to their preferred address the next business day for an additional cost of Rs. 90 per item by selecting the 'In-a-day Guarantee' option during checkout. It's notable that the Moto X Teak and Walnut Wood back panel options are also a part of the exchange offer and will be offered at Rs. 21,999 after discount.
Earlier, Flipkart introduced new offers for consumers' purchasing the Moto G (Review | Pictures) smartphone from the online retailer. The Moto G offer on Flipkart included as prizes one-year free shopping on Flipkart for one customer, and full cash back on the Moto G for 100 customers.
