For those considering buying a new smartphone or upgrading to a new one,
this might be the right time. Flipkart, one of India's leading
e-commerce websites, is now offering discounts on various smartphones
for a limited time.
With its discount offer, the Rs. 12,999 (16GB)
price tag on the Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) gets reduced to Rs. 10,999. The Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM, on the other hand,
is now available
at Rs. 9,999, down from the launch price of Rs. 11,999.
Unfortunately,
Flipkart has not revealed the duration of the discount and only notes,
"This offer is valid until stocks last or till the offer ends" on the
device listing pages.
Some of the other devices available at
discounted prices on Flipkart include the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311,
which is now retailing at Rs. 8,999, a 10 percent discount; the Lenovo Vibe X2 4G, which is
available
at a lower price of Rs. 14,999 - down from earlier price of Rs.
17,999, and Microsoft Lumia 535 is available at Rs. 7,575 (a Rs. 700
discount).
Lenovo's voice-calling tablet, the A7-30 3G is also
available
at a
discounted price of Rs. 6,480, down from the launch price of Rs. 9,979.
Motorola
on Monday silently reduced prices of both the 16GB and 32GB variants of
the Moto X (Gen 2) in India. The Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) 16GB Black is
now available at Rs. 26,999 via Flipkart, while the Moto X (Gen 2) 32GB
variant is now selling at Rs. 29,999. Both smartphones have received a
Rs. 3,000 cut from their earlier prices.
