The rumoured Microsoft Lumia 650 that has been a victim of several leaks and rumours lately has once again appeared in an image supposedly confirming its design. The smartphone specifications have also been mentioned.
The image purportedly from a device tester shows the smartphone with a metal frame, and was shared by VentureBeat alongside specifications. The Black colour variant is also seen sporting a speaker grille below the display.
As for the specifications, the Lumia 650 is said to feature a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display, 1GB RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear camera - very similar to its predecessor - Lumia 640. It is also tipped to run on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC as the Lumia 550. The smartphone is backed by a 2000mAh battery, which surprisingly is less than that in Lumia 640 and Lumia 550.
The rumoured smartphone was last month spotted in several render images, which corroborate the aforementioned leaked image. Some of the other features hinted for the smartphone are Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, dual-SIM configurations, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, HD Voice, and Wi-Fi calling.
In a separate report citing AdDuplex's monthly data, Windows 10 Mobile market share was seen to have grown in the Windows Phone market. The report by AdDuplex also listed several unreleased smartphones accessing its network. The report mentioned the Lumia 650 (RM-115(x)) with 5-inch HD display, cementing the handset's existence. It also showed RM-1160/1162 device with 5.4-inch HD display to arrive later.
In addition, the report suggests that LG will launch its V496 or the G Pad 8.3 running Windows 10 in future. Also spotted by AdDuplex, HP is anticipated to launch a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone dubbed 'Falcon' with a 5.4-inch HD display.
