The last sale saw 25,000 units of the Yu Yureka smartphone that were made available go out of stock in seven seconds while the ninth sale saw 25,000 Yu Yureka smartphones going out of stock in six seconds.
Prior to this, the eighth sale saw 30,000 smartphones going out of stock in seven seconds while the seventh flash sale saw the same number of units going out of stock in six seconds. 15,000 units went out of stock in four seconds in the sixth flash sale while the fifth sale saw 25,000 units go out of stock in four seconds. The third sale saw 10,000 units and fourth sale saw 15,000 units going out of stock in three seconds and four seconds respectively.
Cyanogen earlier this month confirmed that it is in the final stages of preparing Cyanogen OS 12 (CM12S) 'L' OTA updates for smartphones including Micromax's Yu Yureka.
Priced at Rs. 8,999, Micromax's Yu Yureka (Review | Pictures) offers some rather impressive specifications at the price. The dual-SIM smartphone features Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity, and runs Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3; a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939); an Adreno 405 GPU; 2GB of RAM; a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and flash; a front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera; 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a 2500mAh Li-Po battery.
