The company made the announcement via its Twitter and Facebook pages on Monday, and the new price is already visible on Amazon India, the company's official online partner. The price cut on the Yureka Plus (Review) comes just within two weeks of launch, and seems to be a desperate move by the company to keep the smartphone relevant against the likes of the Lenovo K3 Note and recently launched Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen).

All existing Yureka Plus customers well receive an Amazon.in gift voucher worth Rs. 1,000 in next few days, the company said. Yu started teasing the price cut on the Yu Yureka Plus over the weekend via its social channels. Amazon India, is taking registrations for the next flash sale on Thursday, and registrations close at midnight Tueday.
