Micromax has introduced a new smartphone in its Canvas series, the Canvas Pace 4G. The handset is available to buy via an e-commerce website at Rs. 6,821, and has also been listed on the company website.
The Micromax Canvas Pace 4G is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supporting device running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution display with a calculated pixel density of 195.9ppi and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.1GHz, clubbed with 1GB RAM and Adreno GPU.
The smartphone houses a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Canvas Pace 4G bears 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Other than regular connectivity options, the smartphone features Cat. 4 enabled LTE connectivity that is capable of download speeds of up to 150Mbps, and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
The smartphone is backed by a 2500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 375 hours of stand-by time. An ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor are also included. The Canvas Pace 4G is available to buy in a Black colour variant from eBay India.
Micromax earlier this month launched the Canvas Express 4G smartphone in India priced at Rs. 6,599. The highlight of the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G at the price is 4G LTE support, specifically Cat. 4 LTE like the aforementioned Canvas Pace 4G. Micromax has lately been pushing 4G-enabled smartphones in the Indian market. The company initially announced the Canvas Blaze 4G, Canvas Fire 4G, and Canvas Play 4G in September.
