There is no official word on the pricing and availability details of the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus; though, we expect that the company will be announcing the smartphone in the coming days.
The Canvas 4 Plus went on sale on Monday via eBay and Infibeam e-commerce websites. Notably, Infibeam has been selling the Canvas 4 Plus at Rs. 16,999, while eBay has a discounted price tag of Rs. 16,750.
The new Micromax Canvas series smartphone comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Notably, the handset supports one Micro-SIM card and the other regular SIM size.
It comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) Amoled display and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali 450 GPU.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with LED flash support and there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. It supports an additional expansion via microSD card (up to 32GB), apart from the 16GB of inbuilt storage.
Connectivity options on the handset include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It also comes with a G-sensor, proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor. The Canvas 4 Plus packs a 2000mAh battery which is rated by the company to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 205 hours of standby time.
The official listing also lists some of the preloaded apps on the Canvas 4 Plus such as M!Live, M!games, Opera , Swift key, Hike, Getit, BookmyShow, Truecaller, M!Insurance, and M!security.
