The Micromax Bolt A075 will join the Bolt series of smartphones which includes the Micromax Bolt A24, Bolt A34, Bolt A35, Bolt A37, Bolt A37B, Bolt A40, Bolt A46, Bolt A51, Bolt A58, Bolt A61, Bolt A66, Bolt A068 and Bolt A71.
As we mentioned, the highlight of the Micromax Bolt A075 is its large 5.2-inch TFT display, which according to the company offers a 480x800 pixel resolution. The Micromax Bolt A075 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs the dated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, there is no word whether the Bolt A075 will be receiving any OTA (over-the-air) updates from the company.
It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC6825A Cortex A5 processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM. The Bolt A075 includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Bolt A075 supports EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB. Notably, the new phablet from Micromax does not support 3G connectivity.
It packs a 2200mAh battery, which according to the official listing delivers up to 8 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time. The smartphone also comes with some preloaded apps such as Games (Bubble X Slice and Zombie Smasher), Kingsoft Office, Hike, Opera Mini and M! Live.
In February, Micromax launched the Bolt A068 at Rs. 6,490. The smartphone's most highlighted feature is its predictive typing and unique custom fonts in 20 different languages. Unfortunately, the company has not listed the languages that are supported by the Bolt A068.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The Bolt A068 features a 5-inch display with FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor alongside 512MB of RAM.
