As of now, there is no official word on the availability and price details of the Micromax Bolt A064; though, we expect that the company will likely announce the availability of the smartphone soon.
The new Bolt series smartphone from Micromax comes with dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM) and runs the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) HVGA display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Bolt A064 sports a 2-megapixel rear fixed focus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front fixed focus camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, it offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth options.
The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time on 2G network. Unfortunately, the Bolt A064 does not support 3G connectivity.
It comes with some pre-installed apps such as M! Live, Opera, M! Games, M! Insurance, M! Pick, M! Security, Clean Master, Hike, Games Club, Launcher: Mad, Saavn, Zapper Games: Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble X Slice, and Zombie Smasher.
The domestic handset maker listed the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus on the company's site soon after the handset went on sale via a couple of e-commerce websites, priced at Rs. 16,750.
Micromax, taking a big leap forward, launched its first Google-partnered Android One smartphone in India last month called Micromax Canvas A1. Micromax's first Android One handset is on sale in Black and White colour variants exclusively via Amazon, priced at Rs. 6,499.
